ecoinsurance from The Co-operative Insurance is the UK's first car insurance policy to help offset some of the damage your car's CO2 emissions cause to the environment. We all know that vehicle emissions are bad for the environment - but until there's a practical alternative to owning a car, there's ecoinsurance.

  • The Co-operative Insurance will offset 20% of your car's CO2 emissions* by investing in projects like rainforest reforestation, energy efficiency and renewable energy resources
  • responsible repair network - we make sure that repairers recycle or reuse materials like body panels and plastic parts wherever possible.
  • up to 70% No Claim Discount available for 5 or more claim free years. Or if you have yet to build up a no-claims record, you could qualify for an introductory discount of up to 40%
  • a courtesy car to keep you on the road while yours is being repaired using a Co-operative Insurance appointed repairer
  • EU cover at no extra cost, so when you go on holiday you'll enjoy a similar level of cover as you do in the UK.
