Community Foundation for Greater Manchester
We work closely with the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester. The foundation is an independent grant-making charity which supports local community, voluntary and charitable groups across Greater Manchester which offers a range of services to help individuals, companies and other organisations to engage in effective philanthropic activity by getting funds through to the most deserving local grassroots causes.
We have established a £250,000 capital fund - The Co-operative Bank Community Fund - with the Foundation to ensure local organisations will continue to benefit from our support now and in the future.
We also have a Black & Minority Ethnic Fund with the Foundation. This is an innovative fund, started by our £50,000 grant, which aims to encourage applications from grass-root black and minority ethnic community groups by creating a source of funds specifically for this sector.
