The Friends Life Protection Account

The Friends Life Protection Account, provided by Friends Life Company Ltd, can be specifically tailored to suit your individual needs and budget, so you can mix and match covers to suit you.
There are many types of financial protection and some may be particularly relevant to you. Wherever you are in life: single, settling down with a partner, starting a family or winding down to retirement, we can help you protect yourself and your family.
It makes sense to review your cover regularly in terms of how much you're earning and where you are in life. Because the Friends Life Protection Account is flexible you can add to it as and when your circumstances change making sure your protection continues to meet your needs. The amount you pay will increase when you add new covers. All changes are subject to the terms and conditions that apply at the time of the changes you wish to make.
The Friends Life Protection Account includes the following options:
- Life cover
- Life or Earlier Critical Illness cover
- Critical Illness cover
- Income Protection cover
The Friends Life Protection Account allows you to hold a number of protection covers in one place. The cover is designed to provide protection and so has no cash in value at any time.
If this product is used to help protect a mortgage then please note the level of cover may not match the outstanding mortgage amount.
Cover is subject to acceptance terms and conditions. Generic exclusions apply meaning that under certain circumstances benefits will not be paid, for instance: pre-existing medical conditions and failure to follow medical advice.
