Travellers cheques and currency

Q. Can I order my currency/travellers cheques from The Co-operative Bank?
A. You can order foreign currency or travellers cheques by calling into your local branch.

Q. Can I put the currency/travellers cheques I have left over from my holidays back into my account?
A. You can put travellers cheques into your account by signing and counter signing the cheques and taking them to a local branch or sending them with a paying-in slip to:
Foreign Services
PO BOX 200
Skelmersdale
WN8 6YA
Please don’t send foreign currency travellers cheques to the usual address for normal cheques or pay them in at the Post Office, as they can’t be processed there. However, it’s fine to pay in Sterling travellers cheques this way.

Q. Who issues The Co-operative Bank travellers cheques and what currencies can I order?
A. All travellers cheques are issued by American Express. Travellers cheques are available in US dollars or Euros
