The insurance will not cover:
- the booking of or undertaking a holiday against the advice of a medical practitioner
- participation during the holiday in specified hazardous pursuits or manual work in connection with any trade or business
- any claim resulting from bodily injury, illness, disease or death to an insured person arising from a pre-existing medical condition.
A pre-existing medical condition means a medical condition for which, at the date of booking the insured holiday or taking out the policy (whichever is later), the insured person:
- had been referred to a consultant in the previous 12 months
- had at any time in the previous 6 months been taking medication prescribed by, or on the advice of, a consultant
- was awaiting, or had been advised of the need for, in-patient treatment or referral to a consultant
- was awaiting tests or test results
- had received a terminal prognosis from a medical practitioner.

- you or anyone normally living with you have ever been convicted of, or has a prosecution pending in respect of arson, or any other offence involving dishonesty of any kind, e.g. fraud, robbery, theft or handling of stolen goods
- you or anyone normally living with you has been refused insurance or had special conditions imposed
- you or any of the proposers are under 16 years of age
- you are not resident in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
