Play your part in fighting fraud:
- Always keep your card in your possession and never let it out of your sight. Treat them as carefully as you would cash.
- Keep a separate note of our contact numbers. Keep the information in a different location from your wallet or purse.
- If you drive on holiday, keep handbags and wallets out of sight of opportunistic thieves - especially in slow-moving traffic.
- If your card is retained by a cash machine or you discover that it is missing, tell us immediately by calling 0845 600 6000.
- When using a cash machine, be weary of anyone trying to watch you enter your PIN.
- Never let anyone else know your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
- Only deal with reputable companies when using your card for purchases over the phone or through the internet.
- Check your sales voucher to make sure that the total is correct and complete before you sign. Keep your copy safe.
- Check your statements. If you see a transaction that you do not recognise, tell us straight away.
With your help we can beat card fraud.
