Fees and Charges
Following feedback from our customers, we have set out below when certain fees and charges may apply to your policy.
Cancellation Fees
If you find that the product isn’t for you the option to cancel is always available.
If you wish to cancel your policy within 14 days of its start date we will return the full premium you have paid less a pro-rata charge for the amount of time you were on cover.
If you wish to cancel beyond 14 days but before the first renewal date of the policy then a flat £35.00 fee will apply in addition to the pro-rata charge for the time you were on cover.
Once the policy has passed its first renewal date then a pro-rata charge for the time you were on cover will apply.
For policies taken out before February 2008 our short period rates will apply, details of which can be found in your policy booklet.
Charges for Duplicate Documents and Making Changes to your Policy
You’ve bought your new car or you want to add someone onto you policy, whatever the change it’s easily done through our Customer Contact Centre on 08457 46 46 46.
However, to keep the overall price of the policy down and to cover the cost of making such changes we apply an administration fee of £15.
Examples of when this fee is applied are:
- Change of Vehicle
- Add/Remove Drivers
- Change of Cover
- Temporary Additional
- Driver/Vehicle
- Duplicate Documents
- Copy Certificate
